Gifts to Build Up God's House

Artistry

The ability that God gives to certain believers to build, maintain, or beautify a place of worship for God’s glory and the facilitation of ministry. Also, the ability to develop and utilise one’s skills to express worship through a variety of art forms.

- Exodus 31:1-11, 35:30-35; 1 Chronicles 28:21

Hospitality

The ability that God gives to certain believers to make others, especially strangers, feel warmly welcomed, accepted, and comfortable in the church family. The ability to coordinate factors that promote fellowship between the saved and unsaved, whether it be within the church, in one's own home, or at another location or event. The ability to graciously accommodate those in need.

You can tell the people that have this gift because you immediately feel comfortable around them. There's a difference between entertaining and hospitality. These people have a great concern for your comfort.

- Acts 16:14-15; Romans 12:9-13; Hebrews 13:1-2; 1 Peter 4:9

Music

The ability God gives to certain believers to celebrate His presence through anointed music, either vocally or instrumentally, in such a way that an atmosphere of participatory worship is created and a powerful sense of God’s presence is experienced.

- Colossians 3:16, Psalm 40:3
